Finbar Furey formerly of the Furey Brothers group and who in more recent times has persued a solo career, gave very generously of his time to perform a fundraising gig at the Merry Ploughboy pub. The gig was in aid of a local boxing club and Finbar was joined by on stage by virtuoso fiddle player (and founding member of Stockton's Wing) Maurice Lennon. The Merry Ploughboys joined in on the act when it came to a rousing rendition of the Red Rose Cafe. Thanks to Eugene for the pictures from the night.
